La via Traiana

La via Traiana fu un'antica strada romana. Venne costruita fra il 108 ed il 110 d.C. per volontà dell'imperatore Traiano, su un preesistente tracciato di età repubblicana. Era una variante della via Appia e collegava Benevento (Beneventum) a Brindisi (Brundisium).

La Lama e le grotte

Ha inizio in contrada Palombara Grande, un'unica lama le cui due sponde sono separate da una zona coltivata a ulivi. Manca un vero e proprio corso d’acqua. La Lama è ricca di antiche grotte. Termina nei pressi di Diana Marina.

Il mare

Lungo i 15 chilometri della costa di Ostuni si sviluppano molte delle più belle spiagge di Ostuni iniziando l'escursione dal mare di Lamaforca sino a giungere nelle spiagge di Rosa Marina. Le spiagge del Pilone rientrano nel Parco naturale delle dune costiere habitat naturale per specie vegetali e animali che rischiano di scomparire.
